Singapore has heaps of options for vegans, and it just keeps getting better and better! Here’s my list of my favourite vegetarian spots with vegan options.
These 3 vegetarian restaurants are my go-to’s:
Herbivore:
190 Middle Road, #1-13/14, Fortune Centre, Singapore 188973
Monday-Friday 11:30-15:00, 17:00-21:30
Saturday and Sunday 11:30-21:30
THEIR AGEDASHI TOFU IS TO-DIE-FOR!!!! It’s the best agedashi tofu in the world. Also, try their unagi maki! Those are the 2 must-try dishes here. I also like their spicy (but not spicy) ramen.
Well Dressed Salad Bar and Cafe:
Real Food:
181 Orchard Road, #02-16 to 19 Orchard Central, Singapore 238896 (check site for other locations)
Daily 10:00-20:45
The only thing on their menu that I find outstanding is their steamed dumplings. (Don’t forget to ask for chili on the side!) I usually will either get their mushroom aglio olio and steamed dumplings, or I’ll get dumpling soup and add organic noodles. I also like their kombu shiitake soup. They also sell the most amazing coconut buns by the cashier! Must. Get.
Other favourite restaurants:
nomVnom Bistro:
6 Eu Tong Sen Street, Clarke Quay Central Level 3 unit 105, Singapore 059817
Daily 11:00-22:30
100% vegan burger restaurant with pasta and pizza, as well. My order: Lion’s Mane Truffle burger swap out patty with crispy soy patty with fries and a matcha latte. Their matcha ice cream is also great! nomVnom has a great space that overlooks Clarke Quay, and it’s super pretty at night.
Veganburg:
44 Jln Eunos, Singapore 419502
Daily 11:30-20:00
Another 100% vegan burger spot! Tip: Go with a friend and order 2 meals with the Creamy Shrooms Burger, and BBQ Burger with added bacon. Ask them to cut both burgers in half and have half of each one!
八宝素食馆 Eight Treasures:
282A South Bridge Rd, Singapore 058831
Saturday-Thursday 11:30-14:15, 18:00-21:30
Friday 11:30-14:15
Their ee fu noodles are bomb.com and they’re a must-try!!! I also like their Marmite pork ribs (they don’t taste like marmite at all), salt n pepper chicken, and 8 Treasures tofu. If you’re not into mock meats, this probably won’t be the place for you! I’m not usually into mock meats, but these are good!
The Boneless Kitchen:
1 Irving Pl, #01-31 Commerze @ Irving, Singapore 369546
Tuesday-Sunday 12:00-21:00
My favourite vegetarian Korean restaurant in Singapore. Order the Kimchi jjigae with ramen and vegan gimbap (be sure to say that you want it vegan without the egg). Yummmmm.
Saravana Bhavan:
84, Syed Alwi Road, Opp to Mustafa Center, Singapore 207663
Sunday-Thursday 9:00-23:30
Friday-Saturday 9:00-23:45
The best masala dosa I’ve ever had! They have several locations, but this is the one I go to.
Pita Bakery:
29 Bali Ln, Singapore 189865
Monday-Thursday 10:00-20:30
Friday-Sunday 10:00-21:00
100% vegan Middle Eastern pita bakery. The make all their food in-house. Love their falafels, pitas, and hummus!
Annalakshami:

Lotus Kitchen:
133 New Bridge Road, #01-01/02 Chinatown Point, Singapore 059413
Daily 11:30-14:30, 17:30-21:30
Their fried laksa is great, and I enjoy their dim sum menu. Oh, I am not a fan of their veg abalone dumplings, though; I just don’t feel like corn belongs in dumplings. Get the truffle mushroom dumplings, wild mushroom crystal dumplings and veg bbq king oyster buns!
Update 23/11/2020: Unfortunately this location has closed, but they’ve moved to Royal Square at Novena, which a new menu with some of the same items!
